OUR STORY

After many adventures in our touring caravan, we decided it was time to escape to the country. We searched for the perfect site in the right location and found a true gem on the edge of the beautiful village of Ingleton. We discovered a place with dark skies, breathe taking views, and adventures at every turn, yet still on the doorstep of great local pubs and all the amenities you need. This was our perfect find.
Over the last 10 years, Meadow Falls has evolved from a five-acre field in need of a lot of love to a nurtured landscape and a business we absolutely love. We've poured all the best parts of our own family caravan holidays into Meadow Falls, while trying to eliminate everything we disliked about camping holidays.
We believe in thoughtful design and a welcoming atmosphere.
-
Unique Glamping: One size doesn't fit all, that's why our glamping pods come in a variety of sizes and shapes, with different bed configurations, so that every family can find a unique space that fits their needs. While we would have loved to install private toilets in each pod, the lay of the land just wouldn't allow for it.
-
Sparkly Facilities: The dreaded dirty Shared facilities - We don’t think it has to be that way. Making sure our facilities are clean was our number one priority when we started. We’re not just talking about a quick wipe down; we mean deep-down clean—no mould, no cobwebs, and always a full roll of toilet paper. It’s tough to maintain, but we believe that if you arrive to a clean and tidy space, you’ll want to keep it that way too.
-
The Layout: You don't need to be segregated. We've found that mixing and matching works so much better. While we couldn't move the touring caravan pitches, we've added tent pitches in front and even EHU pitches next to some of our glamping pods, creating a space for you to be together.
-
Children's play areas: We found that play areas were often hidden away on other sites. Why? We want to see our kids having a great time, and they want to feel safe knowing they can see us too. That's why the play area is right in the middle of the site.
-
A Welcome for Dogs: As dog lovers, we know they're part of the family and need space to be happy too. They can then run free in our secure exercise area, get a clean-up at our dedicated doggy wash and relax by your side at your spacious pitch.
-
Group sizes: While we love catching up with friends and family, we know things can get overwhelming when groups are too big. So, we've found a nice balance to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for everyone.

MEET THE HOLMANS
We are multitaskers, so you'll pretty much find us everywhere and nowhere all at the same time. Running a campsite means you really do have to wear 100 hats at once and it can be hard during busy times, but greeting happy campers is what makes us keep going.
Dave
He'll be ready to greet you on arrival, show you to your pitch and ask you what your plans are to help you with directions. He's not shy with the power tools or jump leads and we definitely help you out if your a bit stuck. He's also visited a few local caves, so if you're up for an underground adventure, ask him for some tips.

Liz
Stuck in the office doing bookings, accounts and social media, some of the more behind the scenes tasks that are still hugely important to run the business. Also not shy of hard work, with plenty of hedge trimming, grass strimming and shower block scrubbing. For all your overground adventures, 3 peaks, rivers or woods ask Liz will point you to some beautiful locations.

The next Generation
Now 10 years on and this is now home; The children have grown up and the lessons they've learnt by being here are stuff you can't learn in a book or teach in a classroom, they're life skills that will shape their futures. They've become confident, thoughtful and mature
in ways we never would have expected.
Owen
Now a local mechanic, he may not be around to help us with logs and grass cutting like he used to, but you'll find him jump starting cars when your battery has gone flat.
Annabel
Now works part time in the local village kitchen (supplier of our breakfast butty's), she helps in the summer as she is just about to start college for a career in the Police.
There is definitely "No looking back" we're here to
make more memories.
