Cafes:

  • The Village Kitchen: This takeaway café is a great option for lunches, delicious breakfasts, and warming soups. They also offer homemade sausage rolls, cakes and Friday specials, perfect for a picnic, a light bite on the go or if there's a table free outside enjoy the village atmosphere. A big winner for us.

  • Inglesport Cafe: This cafe is a popular spot for breakfast, lunch, and coffee. They serve a variety of sandwiches, pastries, and of course the infamous "Welly Filler" big breakfast. Why not explore the shop too, lots of great outdoors gear

  • Bernies Cafe: The reopening of Bernie's Cafe is eagerly awaited. Its unique connection to the caving community make it a special spot in Ingleton. So, mark your calendars, keep an eye out for updates, and get ready to enjoy all that the new Bernie's has to offer!

  • G and T's cafe: Lunch menu features an array of sandwiches, salads, and light bites, catering to various dietary preferences. Homemade cakes and pastries: Indulge in their homemade treats, ranging from classic Victoria sponge to mouth-watering brownies.


Pubs:

  • The Wheatsheaf Inn: Steeped in history dating back to the 17th century, The Wheatsheaf Inn offers a cosy and traditional pub experience. Enjoy classic pub fare alongside a selection of real ales and local beers. Don't miss their famous Monday night quiz nights and the lovely outdoor seating with a beer garden, perfect for sunny days - not to be missed.

  • The Marton Arms: A stones throw from Meadow Falls campsite, The Marton Arms is a friendly pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Field to Fayre menu serving classic seasonal dishes. They also have a beer garden for enjoying al fresco dining.

  • The Masons Freehouse: Once a family-run pub and definitely a local favourite, renowned for its warm atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious homemade food. Has changed hands over the past few years and has had a mixed reception.

  • The Craven Heifer: A big favourite of our previous staff members is a welcoming down to earth pub with a diverse menu. From traditional pub classics to lighter bites and vegetarian options, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Some outside seating for a nice day.

Restaurants:

  • Peaks & Troughs: This stylish restaurant offers a modern European menu with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Their dishes are beautifully presented and packed with flavour, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

  • La Tavernetta: For a taste of Italy in Ingleton, La Tavernetta is the place to go. This small, rustic restaurant serves up authentic Italian dishes made with passion and using the finest ingredients. Their friendly staff and cosy atmosphere will make you feel right at home.

  • Bank Top: This contemporary restaurant offers a varied menu with dishes to suit all tastes. From steaks and grills to vegetarian options and seafood, there's something for everyone to enjoy. They also have a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails.


Takeaway:

  • Ingleton Pizza: Fast food restaurant, pizzas, kebabs, burgers, fried chicken. Enough said!


OK so we may have added a few bonus recommendations - because you can never have too many options. 12 is better than 10 and these are just the tip of the iceberg, you'll not go hungry in Ingleton.
